This is a working version. The wording is still being reviewed by a lawyer.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Browser local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) work in a similar way. Below, we refer to all of these as cookies.
How we process data from forms and calls is described in our privacy policy.
Necessary: always on
Without them, the site can’t remember your language or your cookie choice. They don’t create a personal profile and aren’t shared with anyone.
- pll_language: a cookie that remembers the site language. Stored for 1 year.
- cookie-consent-v1: an entry in browser local storage with your choice: analytics yes or no, marketing yes or no. Nothing else is stored there. It stays until you change your choice or clear the site data.
- favor-intro: an entry in session storage noting that the opening intro has been shown, so we don’t show it again. It disappears when you close the tab.
- WordPress login cookies (names starting with wordpress_ and wp-) are set only for site administrators when they log in to the dashboard. They are not set for visitors.
Analytics: only with your consent
Anonymized visit statistics help us understand which pages are useful and which aren’t. We use Google Analytics 4 for this.
- Google Analytics starts only after you allow analytics. Until you choose, the switch is set to “off.”
- Google Analytics cookies: _ga and _ga_, stored for up to 2 years. Google’s rules are at policies.google.com.
Marketing: only with your consent
Marketing cookies help us assess whether our advertising works. On this site, that means Binotel call tracking.
- The clinic uses Binotel telephony. The call-tracking script shows a substitute phone number on the site to understand which ad brought you here. It starts only after you allow marketing and may store cookies to identify the source of the call.
- There are no advertising pixels from social networks or search engines on the site.
Third-party services on our pages
Some pages show content from other companies. These companies may set their own cookies under their own rules, and we have no control over them.
- A Google map on the home page and the Contacts page. Google may store cookies when the map loads. Google’s rules are at policies.google.com.
- The Telegram, Viber and WhatsApp buttons are ordinary links. Until you click them, the messaging apps learn nothing about you.
How to change your choice
On your first visit, the site shows a notice with “Accept” and “Decline” buttons. Until you choose, analytics and marketing are off. You can change your decision at any time.
- Click “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page and turn the categories you want on or off.
- Or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. The notice will then appear again.
- Most browsers let you block cookies entirely. The site will still open, but it won’t remember your language or your choice.
Have a question for the clinic?
The hotline is open 24/7. You can call anonymously, for yourself or on behalf of a loved one.
